A proud moment for Alt Academy - Read our latest Ofsted report

We are extremely proud of the outcomes of our most recent Ofsted inspection, which took place on 6th and 7th October 2026. Under Ofsted's new inspection framework, Alt Academy achieved an impressive four 'Strong Standard' judgements and three 'Expected Standard' judgements, with safeguarding standards also confirmed as met.

We are particularly delighted to have achieved 'Strong Standard' judgements in Curriculum and Teaching, Early Years, Inclusion, and Personal Development and Wellbeing. These judgements recognise that our provision exceeds the expected standard in these important areas and reflect the dedication, ambition and commitment of our entire school community.

Inspectors praised our inclusive and welcoming school culture, the quality of teaching, the opportunities we provide for our children and the strong relationships between pupils, staff and families. The report also describes our pupils' behaviour as "exemplary", something of which we are especially proud.

This fantastic achievement reflects the hard work of our children, the dedication of our colleagues and the invaluable support of our families and The Harmony Trust. While we celebrate these outcomes, we remain committed to building on our successes and ensuring that Alt Academy continues to be a place where every child can Believe, Achieve and Succeed.
