School Uniform

All children should wear the academy uniform. The Harmony Trust is committed to supporting the provision of affordable school uniform for all children across our academies.  

PLEASE ensure that all articles of clothing are clearly marked with your child’s name.

Any unembroidered uniform can also be purchased from a retailer of your own choice which provides the same required practicality and smartness. 

Uniform 

• Blue academy sweatshirt/cardigan or fleece

• White school polo top 

• Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore dress 

• Grey tights / socks 

• Sensible black shoes 

Boots are NOT allowed in school but practical boots (e.g. wellingtons) may be worn for the journey to and from school in bad weather. 

Physical Education 

Games and P.E are not optional. It is essential that all children have an outfit for P.E.  PE is on a Thursday (MCFC) and Friday (Oldham Sports Development Team).  Children should come to school wearing PE kits on these days.

P.E. Kit

• Black shorts or leggings

• White school polo shirt (as above in line with uniform)

• Trainers

• Blue School jumper/cardigan  (as above in line with uniform)

• Black jumper or zip up cardigan

NO HOODIES OR BRANDED TRACKSUITS

Outdoor PE sessions

Unless the weather is extremely bad, children will have one outdoor session per week and should come to school in the correct PE kit.

Swimming 

Children in year 3/4 attend swimming lessons. We ask that appropriate swimming kit be brought in when required. (Swimming shorts should not fall below the knee). Girls need to wear a one piece costume and not a bikini.  Any long hair must be secured under a swimming hat, which can be purchased from the baths for £1.15
