Early Years Provision Admission & Charges
Alt Academy provides Nursery provision as part of The Harmony Trust, applications for Nursery places are managed directly by the academy office.

The Harmony Trust Pre-School and Nursery Admissions Policy
Admissions to Pre-School and Nursery
Applications for Nursery places should be made directly to the Academy office.
Places are allocated in accordance with the Trust's admissions criteria, which include priority for:
Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan naming the academy
Vulnerable children as identified by the Local Authority
Children living within the Academy catchment area
Sibling connections, where applicable
Please note that a place in Nursery does not guarantee a place in Reception at this academy.
Funded Early Education Entitlement
Two Year Old Funding
Some two year olds may be eligible for 15 funded hours per week. This is a targeted offer for eligible families and is available from the term after the child's second birthday.
Parents must apply via the Local Authority and provide a valid funding code. Funding cannot be confirmed without a valid code.
Three and Four Year Old Funding
All children are entitled to:
15 funded hours per week (universal entitlement)
Eligible working families may access:
Up to 30 funded hours per week
Funding is term-time only and is available for the term after a child's third birthday. To register for a 30 hour funded place parents must register online at Apply for free childcare if you're working - GOV.UK Parents must provide and regularly reconfirm a valid funding code. The Academy cannot hold a place where eligibility is unconfirmed.
Session Times
The following Pre-School and Nursery sessions are offered at Alt :

Nursery children who are entitled to 30 free hours leave at 12.25 on a Friday to ensure they receive their entitlement.
(No requirement for parents to pay a top-up fee).
Meals and Snacks
Hot meals are available where offered.
The charge for a hot meal is £2.64 per day
Meals must be pre-booked and paid in advance via ParentPay
Children receive a daily snack as part of their session.
Where applicable, families may make a voluntary contribution towards snack provision.
